Adiona is a 2002 Lagoon 410 S2. She is 41ft long, and 23 ft wide (12.37m x 8.09m). These sailboats were built in France by the Lagoon company from 1997 through to about 2006. In total 283 of this model were built, in two main variants. We have the second variant, identified as S2. She has been designed as an offshore cruising catamaran, built to cross oceans and sail around the world
Besides the variant S1 or S2 which gets fairly technical regarding layout of pulleys, clutches, etc… there is also the layout of the boat. Most of the Lagoon 410s were built in a “charter version” layout. This means 4 cabins, often with 4 bathrooms (or head’s to be more nautical). That works well for charter companies that make money by having as many people as possible on board, but does not work well for us. So Adiona is an “Owners Version”. In an owners version the entire starboard hull is set up as the main cabin, with the sleeping in the rear, with a full stand-up shower in the front, and an office in between. Not very many of the owners versions were made, so it took us a long time to find Adiona. When we purchased her, she was the only owners version for sale on the planet.
