Our latest anchorage in Martinique.. Les Anses d’Arlet
Arrived from St Lucia a couple of days ago… was a really quick trip over.. averaged about 8-9knots & made it in just over 3 hours! We really like the vibe here in Martinique… quite different from St Lucia… not sure what it is, but it feels more relaxed!!
Did a couple of dives yesterday just a short dingy ride from where we are anchored. Really great visibility, healthy corals and plenty of reef fish.
Wish we could share more pictures and videos, but the words “good wifi connection” just don’t go together here! Ppent all day today getting our local digicel phones “sorted” out… seems like the all inclusive plans that we thought we bought aren’t so all inclusive… we can receive calls, but we can’t call out and the data disappeared pretty quickly! Then we tried getting our Sasktel sim cards re-issued… kinda hard to call Sasktel customer service when you don’t have phones you can call from & their Live Chat does not seem to work outside of Canada! Was finally able to get those sorted out and replacements are on their way with friends this weekend!
Tomorrow we are going to head East along the south coast.. maybe do a dive first, we’ll see how the weather is tomorrow morning…
