So as we mentioned in our previous post, things are changing daily, if not hourly… this morning we heard the last AirCanada flight out of Grenada was going to be March 31st.. so we quickly changed our flight. Just after we did that we heard chatter on the boat radios that T Grenadian government has shut down the airport as of tomorrow… well fuck ! As mentioned before, there is no covid here on the island and they are doing their best to keep it that way.
So what is our plan now? Tomorrow first thing we are heading to the marina where we had planned to haul out our boat and will be making arrangements to haul out at the soonest possible time. We will have to live in our boat “on the hard”.. will have power and water, but will have to leave the boat to go to the bathroom (or use a bucket). This way we will be ready to leave as soon as we have a flight out.
We are thinking of you guys at home… PLEASE stay safe… do not go out unless you absolutely have to for any reason. This is crazy!

Keeping my fingers crossed that everything works out for you!!!
Good luck. I suppose there worse places to wait a global pandemic.
Sending love and virtual hand wipes❤️
Stay safe, it’s a crazy time for sure! Not sure yet what to expect, so we’re taking this very seriously, not going to any public places, even doing groceries on line and pick up at express pick up parking, by the way, I LOVE it! Will continue using that service for a while longer!!
Going for a walk this afternoon, lovely sunny day, but a bit on the cool side, so will have to walk much faster to stay warm.
Thinking of you hopefully you will be back in Canada soon, I know that the Feds are doing their best to repatriate all Canadian as soon as possible, but so much on the table at this time with Air lines cutting down services, countries shutting down borders, etc…
Keep us posted and keep!

Thanks for the update. Stay safe.
Now, it is March 31, and even though I know the end of your story it would be nice to hear from you how it all came down. Glad you made it home safely, though.
