Home for the Holidays

Our trip home began at 2:30am with a 45min drive to the airport.. needless to say there was no traffic! 5:00am flight to Lisbon… long layover… then a 1:00pm departure for Toronto…. long layover… delayed flight… and finally arrived home at 4:00am! Our bed sure felt good after 30+ hours of travel!!

So we are at our land home now… catching up with family… work stuff, etc. Adiona is safely tied up at the marina in Calheta.

We will be heading back on January 6th to join our crew Jason & Dave to continue the adventure. We hope to be back on the water within a couple of days, heading to the Canary Islands, then to Cape Verde and across the Atlantic to St Lucia. Should be arriving in St Lucia sometime mid-February.. but of course that all depends on wind, weather & of course boat repairs !!

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year ! We are looking forward to seeing what 2020 brings… we have 2 empty cabins on the boat after mid-February so feel free to join us… we’ll be sailing until early April.
